Hi, I’m Jena Kim, a pop culture critic specializing in K-pop,
Hallyu (Korean Wave) culture, media, and content production.

I built a strong foundation in media and music through academic studies, which I later expanded with professional experience at leading entertainment companies such as JYP and YG Entertainment.

My expertise lies in analyzing the global impact of K-pop and Hallyu culture, exploring how they intersect with media trends and innovative content production. Currently, I share these insights as a university lecturer, guiding the next generation of media and entertainment professionals. As the CEO of Dizicre – a digital content platform, and the founder of Memuento – a popular culture web magazine, I focus on providing in-depth analysis of the trends and developments shaping media, music, and entertainment.

I am committed to sharing insights that help others understand the significance of Korean culture in the modern entertainment landscape.
